Whilst there has been some flexibility over the last two years, in line with other sector quality standards we have now returned to our pre pandemic model of on-site assessment. We are conscious that the majority of advice services have now returned to offer an element of face-to-face advice as part of a hybrid model of advice delivery. This means that where possible on-site assessments will be the default position as of January 1st, 2023.
Remote assessments will be considered on a case-by-case approach and only where there is no alternative and/or if there is a return of Covid 19 which makes it unsafe.
Assessments that require longer than one day on-site may also include an element of remote assessment activity, for example the first day may be completed on-site meeting senior staff and reviewing central records, whilst the second day may include a series of remote video conferencing staff interviews.
