Expertise: Key areas of expertise include Contract mobilisation, implementation and ongoing management, quality assurance activities with a large pool of Assessor resources (employed and self-employed) and relationship management with clients and key stakeholders in the legal and not for profit advice sectors.

Liz Morris
Quality Manager | AQS
Based: St Neots Office
Experience: Liz has over 20 years of experience in quality assuring quality standards on behalf of stakeholders in the not for profit, legal and private sector. Liz is fervent about supporting organisations and charities to implement quality frameworks and achieve accreditation, ultimately providing a seamless customer experience. Liz continues to assess organisations herself this ensures she continues to stay abreast of the challenges faced by clients, using the knowledge gained to feed into their ongoing development.
Expertise: Key areas of expertise include developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, performance managing external quality standard assessors, developing client support tools and resources, stakeholder engagement and contract management.

Paula Bywater
Project and Finance Co-ordinator | AQS
Based: St Neots Office
Experience: With over 14 years’ experience in administering assessment activities for quality standards, Paula is the first point of contact for all AQS assessment activities, working closely with both applicant organisations and the team of Assessors.
Expertise: Co-ordination of all aspects of the assessment process, in line with the specifications of ASA. In addition, Paula manages the finance function for Recognising Excellence.

Our Assessor Resources
Recognising Excellence utilises the skills of an extensive pool of Assessors, working on a freelance subcontract basis ensuring full geographical coverage across the country. Each member of the assessing team has been selected for their experience and knowledge of the not for profit sector and were subject to an extensive process of training and mentoring prior to deployment. On going coaching and mentoring is a critical factor for continued involvement.
