Training course on General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Especially for legal practices and legal departments, Recognising Excellence in co-operation with PDA Legal are pleased to provide GDPR training courses that are designed for staff and management roles.

There are two modules. The first module is for fee earners and support staff. It puts compliance with the GDPR into a meaningful day-to-day operational context, including the risks and lines of reporting.

The second module is intended for Managers. It addresses the operational aspects as well as the application of GPDR in HR, client care, client feedback, record keeping and data mapping, privacy notices and keeping staff up-to-speed with the GDPR. It also spotlights essential GDPR concerns, such as handling data breaches, Data Subject Access Requests and Data Protection Impact Assessments.

The courses support compliance with obligations under 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.5, 3.1, 3.2 and 4.3 of the SRA 2019 Code of Conduct for law firms.

The courses are also relevant to Solicitor Competencies A2, C1, C3, D2 and D3.

The sessions can be delivered at client premises or live via a dedicated online portal. All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
