Session 1b: Cybersecurity workshop

Born in the decade when personal computing began, Rob has had a varied career working with organisations worldwide, assessing and auditing them against various international standards.  He remembers having a desk without a computer but now couldn’t work without one. 

He’s been involved with Lexcel since it began and is an experienced Lexcel assessor.  He also runs an international certification body, offering a range of certifications, including certification for information security management systems against ISO 27001:2022.

A self-taught techie, he’s experienced both the good and bad side of technology in our working lives.  In his talk “Lessons in a Cyber Life”, he’ll present a series of thought-provoking lessons from his work.
